You know...I love her music....but I don't think that she would make a good Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon is a clutz, a clumsy girl who's slightly ditzy. Lady Gaga doesn't portray that at all.
Are they only starring her becauseshe's famous and she's blonde?
Gawd damnit, Hollywood is coming down.
Are we Asians just not cool enough to star in movies anymore?
We've all seen this crap happen with Dragonball Z and Avatar.
They want to take a JAPANESE ANIME and change it to something completely American...which defines to white? No man, America is full of different races gawd damnit. Star an Asian for once.
What goes through these director's head? Just because a famous artist will be starring in it doesn't mean people will like it nor will a lot of people watch it.
Yeah, I think little kids will watch it just because Lady Gaga is in there, but for those who grew up with Sailor Moon and actually watched it......pretty iffy.
Little kids nowadays don't even really now what Sailor Moon is....all they know is Hanna Damn Montana and 6teen...our childhood full of cartoons and games just died because kids want to grow up so fast. They want to become teenagers, and let's all face the facts here, there aren't may teenagers who aren't slut or assholes who just want some.
Anyways, this is from Tokyopop's newsletter:

In addition to starring in the lead role, Lady Gaga will record a full length soundtrack that will be released simultaneously with the movie.
