MYTH: Trimming your hair makes your hair grow out faster.
FACT: Your hair grows the same length every month regardless of trimming.
A lot of people think that trimming your hair causes your hair to grow out faster. That it encourages it to grow. Don't you think that when you cut your hair and it grows, by the time it grows to the same length before you cut it, you'd have to cut it again? Just saying.
Anyways. Hair usually grows the same length every month. Some things can cause your hair to grow out faster like eating healthy, taking vitamins, and massaging your head. To people, since they cut their hair to a shorter length, they watch out for growth. You can notice hair growth when it's shorter than longer. Like say, if your hair was down to your shoulders and you cut it to below your ears. You'll notice the growth because it's so obvious. Once your hair reaches to the middle of your back, you barely notice any growth. Hell, I barely realized my hair grew down to my hips.
